Good morning everybody,

Patrick, I checked after your kind response last night and
tetex-2.0.2-76-i586.rpm appeared to already be installed.

I re-installed it in the off-chance I'd unknowingly done something
wicked -- with no apparent effect on the orphaned links.

As I've said, I'm not a teTeX user and the only problem I have is I
don't like unresolved discrepancies in my file system... it just bugs me
for some reason. >:-|

If this isn't something to worry about, I won't. If you think it's
worth repairing, I'd appreciate any pointers on how to proceed...

Thanks again & regards,

- Carl
