SUSE 9.1 Pro, updated via YOU.

My HP photosmart 935 has two settings. One is as a digital camera using PTP
and the other is as a USB disk drive using MSDC. Set as a USB disk and using
USB 2.0 port it is fast. Set as a digital camera on USB 2.0 port it is very
slow.

When I first plugged it in as digital camera it did not work reliably at all.
Switched to USB disk and it was perfect. Switched back to digital camera and
it was reliable but slow.

I now have both a Digital Camera and a USB Hard Disk under My Computer. Both
work, but not at the same time!

The new submount method looks great for removeable media. Not sure how to use
it for scanners, joysticks, printers, etc that aren't as often hot plugged.
