Hi List

I've just upgraded from 9.0 Pro to 9.1 Pro.

On 9.0 i had a web server running through apache (1) using php4 (gallery)

Once upgraded, i noticed apache was gone and replaced with apache2, only problem is, i cannot get apache2 to work!

The error log in /var/log/apache2 states :

[Fri May 14 10:51:59 2004] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec2)
[Fri May 14 11:06:29 2004] [warn] Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]

Access log

$IP - - [13/May/2004:01:52:10 +0300] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 403 1051 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040114"

It seems that the package prefork is causing problems, without prefork, apache2 startx up fine, once installed, prefork fails to init:

Checking for httpd2: unused
alfred:/home/keren # /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Starting httpd2 (prefork) done

I need the prefork packeage for the php4.

Where do i start to debug?

As you might have guessed, i'm a newbie at SuSE/apache2, so patience and assistance will be appreciated ;-)
