Are you running kdm? If so, all you need to do is to set, in
/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

DISPLAYMANAGER_REMOTE_ACCESS="yes"

and run SuSEconfig, and restart kdm with "rcxdm restart".

If you're running other display managers you'll need to set it up differently,
but on the other hand that should be identical across distributions, since it
uses the core X config files from XFree86
