To put it shortly, no. AMD K5 133 is a 486 clone, while everything in
8.1 is compiled for 586. So recompiling just a kernel is not enough.
You have to recompile everything, but then it won't be SuSE Linux 8.1

The oldest AMD it will work on is AMD K6.
