RAID problems

Hello all. I'm running 7.3 on an AMD system, with a promise IDE
controller. I have four drives whith RAID setup to stripe with one used
for checksum. I'm running 2.4.16-4GB for a kernel. This was working fine
until yesterday. When I booted, the raid mount point didn't mount. When
I use scsistart the following is what gets written to /var/log/messages.

The only thing that looks odd is the event counters; two drive have 10
and two have 12. As nothing would have been written to that drive for
some time, I'm not sure why they differ. I have not written anything to
the RAID system in a while, and know I have read several times properly
since the last write.

Can anyone offer assistance?
