understand as long as there are no fatal errors, it's for experts:-)
After that, your executables should be in /usr/bin or maybe

In my case I think it ended up in
/usr/local/bin

also, in the readme it seemed a little unclear but for system wide use
of themes and plugins I created the directories

/usr/local/share/gkrellm/themes
/usr/local/share/gkrellm/plugins

BTW if you installed the rpm from the 7.2 distribution and didn't
remove it then you will also have an older version of gkrellm in
/usr/X11R6/bin/gkrellm
