Can't you give yourself a static IP address?
That should be fairly easy for your network admin to do for you.

Subject: [SLE] A nasty problem

Dear sirs;
this is my first post... wow!
Besides that. I have a little problem: i mounted a server on a LAN
but the server has a static IP.
On this server, runs an application that is configurable via web; so
that Apache runs
on that machine.
My question is: how can i grant the administrative access only to the
hosts i want,
knowing i have got no IP on which rely to use IPTable or something like

Thanks in advance
