no no :)
I wanted
1 x pcmcia - wireless -> server ( internet )
1 x pci -> win2k pc under desk ( for dreamweaver )

The pcmcia settings turn off the routing of the pci card,
in the end I just set it by hand using route add.

and after all that, I found that vnc was too slow to use for dreamweaver.
I guess I'll reinvestigate vmware and win4lin

I've had my pcmcia orinoco card working fine for a while.
I'm trying to put a second pci nic in the machine
i can get either working
but when both are setup. I cant ping the machine at the pci card side.
everything gets routed through the pcmcia one.

any ideas ?

Check your routing table with either netstat -r or route.

Check your default gateway and any other routes that are set. You might
have to set some manually to get the network the way you want.

It is a bit odd to want two PCMCIA net cards going at once unless you
want to set up a router.
