I could be wrong, but seeings how you have a Voodoo3 card I think it's a safe
bet that its the "Direct Rendering Module" for dri - the "Direct Rendering
Interface". Make sure you have the lines at the end of the XF86Config with

Section "DRI"
Group "video"
Mode 0660
