Could you check whether the kernel in OBS home:tiwai:kernel:4.4 works? This contains the last 4.4.5 stable branch with radeon backports. If this works, we can exclude the backported commits, at least. It sadly does not work
Oh, interesting. So, the kernel already contains a bad one, likely the backported stuff. Could you give the commit id of the last working kernel (you can see it in kernel-default package description)?
