Anyone tell me how to get a USB Mouse working under 7.0 ? I have the code compiled into my kernel already, but im not sure what to do next. ? thanks ( someones borrowing my ps2 mouse )
Just run sax2, u can configure your USB mouse there, it should find it for
u.

Thanks this worked for me ( Sax2 didnt ). I also followed the instructions on the Suse Site and put the mk_initrd thing in ( which i had overlooked ) hooray working USB mouse. ( smoother than the ps2 ) Thanks dids

I dont like xf86config myself, it's easier with sax2 since it autodetects your mouse. I can understand that a text mode tool might be necessary if u dont have the ability to run X though.
How about xf86config or any of the other text mode tools ??

Yep there are still meny of us with older hardware , as well as with hardware with components that are not well suported. some of these boxes may not be good for desktop use but can be used for servers , printservers and routers ect..
