OS: SuSE 9.2 with current YoU Updates At some point in the past week or two I am unable to print from Kfax or Gimp. I installed 9.2 in mid November and have used it since wth no printing problems until now. I have not added/changed any printers and am current ly using an OkiData OL410e in HP PCL mode. (The documents display fine; printing goes through the motions but outputs only blank pages.) BTW, the are TIFF files. Any idea why the print part suddenly quit working? Thank you, Lucky Leavell
A bit more information: 1. Text files print fine 2. OpenOffice also prints fine Thank you, Lucky Leavell On Thu, 3 Feb 2005, Lucky Leavell wrote:

A couple of things to try: 1. Look at /var/log/cups/error_log to see if there's anything unusual (If you are printing from cups that is) 2. Look in Gimp if you didn't accidentally change the printer configuration 3. Print in Gimp to a file and output that using lpr -l <filename> to see if the problem is related to Gimp's output format or the interface Gimp/cups. Best regards, -- Jos van Kan www.josvankan.tk
