Hi I have made a huge mistake! I made mkfs.ext3 to a reiserfs partition. Is there any chance to restore the data from that reiserfs partition? I didn't write something to that new ext3 partition. In my opinion the data is lost. It is very remotely possible that some
combination of luck and skill could retrieve some of the data, but
nothing on a wholesale manner certainly.

Perhaps contacting the namesys.com people; they charge for support, I understand. Or one of those businesses specialized in recovering data. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
