I have 2 Linux computers connected in a simple network.
One is Caldera eD2.4, the other is SuSE 7.0.
Each can ping each other and telnet to each other. My question is, how can I print to the printer on machine A from machine B and vice versa?
I noticed in COAS when editing a printer there is a box for "remote host," but it won't let me type anything in the box.
I can only speak about the SuSE side of things: YaST lets you configure a remote printer: System administration -> Network configuration -> Administer remote printers This should work, if the printer is hooked up to the Caldera box and lpd is running.
