Where does the configure script get its Qt info?

I can go into the 31 Makefile's and replace 2.1.1 with 2.2.2 or put a symbolic link in /usr/lib pointing to qt-2.2.2 and bibletime-31 will compile with Kdevelop-1.2 or with make. When it runs, however, it complains that it can't find the logo graphics, and says bibletime path = < >. a variable which is not mentioned in the install instructions. JLK

I have a pc with two ethernet cards, a Realtek and the second is a Netgear model FA311. The first one works fine but I can't seem to get SuSE 7 to detect the second card. I thought that Netgear cards used the tulip driver but that doesn't seem to work with this card. Does anyone have experience with this card? I tried looking through the mailing list archive but didn't have any luck with this model. Any help is appreciated.

Yup -- use the tulip.c file that came with the FA311. It works fine. The FA310 works with the stock tulip.

Thats not so. I have this card and assumed that as well. The Netgear FA311 uses a new chipset from National Semiconductor which is *not* in any of the 2.2.x kernels yet. It is, however, in 2.4. -Garen

Is he partially correct? I discovered that I had overlooked some files on the floppy that came with the card. I haven't gotten the provided files to compile yet, but I hope to try tonight. Thanks for the info. This would explain why the tulip driver doesn't work. Damon Register

I have renamed all /usr/lib/qt-2.x.x to qt-2.x.x.old, leaving only qt-2.2.2. I have a link: /usr/lib/qt ---> /usr/lib/qt-2.2.2 All other links to prior qt installations have been deleted or redirected, such as /usr/lib/libqt.so ---> /usr/lib/qt-2.2.2/lib/libqt.so
/etc/ld.so.conf has only: lib-aout /usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw95 /usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw3d /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/i486-linux/lib /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib=libc5 /usr/i486-linux-libc6/lib=libc6 /usr/i486-linuxaout/lib /usr/i386-suse-linux/lib /usr/local/lib /usr/openwin/lib /opt/kde2/lib /opt/kde/lib /opt/gnome/lib /usr/lib/qt-2.2.2/lib
in it and that is all.... ldconfig runs clean.
My ~/.bashrc has this: QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-2.2.2 KDEDIR=/opt/kde2 PATH=$QTDIR/bin:/opt/kde2/bin:$PATH MANPATH=$QTDIR/doc/man:$MANPATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$QTDIR/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH export QTDIR PATH MANPATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH
