Compatible Printer w/Refillable Black Cartridges?
I need a currently manufactured printer that is natively Suse 9.2 compatible, will primarily be used for b&w text, and that uses refillable black ink cartridges. What model should I buy, please? Thanks! dmc ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Verizon is allowing incoming mail from Suse but is still blocking outgoing messages, or else Suse is trashing mails from Verison. Anyhow, back to this Web address, sigh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm

David, Epson. I am using the C84. Uses the separate cartridges is inexpensive and will run on either parallel port or USB. Bob S.
If you are going to just be printing text get an OKI
Microline 520 and set it up as a generic text printer. You
will save alot of money on buying ribbons instead of
cartridges.

Do yourself a favor, and get a small laserjet printer. The toner cartridge will last almost forever, no dried-out ink nozzle, better print quality, they're faster most of the time and if you get a postscript compatible printer you don't need to look for driver files either. I've got a HP LJ1200, best buy I ever made. Theo -- Theo v.
