Hello,
I connected my leap 42.1/KDE laptop in a hotel to WiFi. It worked for approx 5 minutes then it suddenly disconnected and I find no way to connect again.
I tried YAST network settings, switched to wicked and then back to networkmanager but on saving it says "error, no network".
Hi Daniel. I think you did run into this? https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978216 It helped me to follow the advice and I installed the 4.4 kernel from the indicated repo. The problem (otherwise frequent) did never happen again. If you have privoxy running you have another bug. There it helps to restart privoxy and you network will be back. But I think you did run into 978216. Cheers and good luck. --- Die Bundesliga hat begonnen! Thanks. It may well be that it is this bug. Right now it works again, let's see for how long :-( I don't think I have privoxy running. Problem with newer kernels are that usually they do not work with may intel/nvidia graphics card mix. I tried earlier for another reason with no luck... But ok, if it works from time to time, I hope it works enough to do my tasks...
