When I execute shared libs (*.so), I get seg faults. I've tried this on quite a few libs and it always happens. I'm running SuSE 7.3. This started happening after I reorganized my directories, putting /opt and /use on rieser filesystems. At the same time, I removed most of my /usr/local/* stuff, as I have collected, compiled and installed many programs and libraries over the years, and I was having trouble with getting old stuff running instead of newer versions. I'm assuming I screwed something up.
