I used Konq to install libtool so that I can install the upgrade to Everybuddy. I then followed the suggestion that I execute "linux:/home/doc # rpm -qf libltdl.so.3" to evaluate the successful install of libtool and got the following: "file libltdl.so.3: No such file or directory" On a lark I tried: "linux:/home/doc # libtool" and received: "libtool: warning: cannot infer operation mode without MODE-ARGS libtool: you must specify a MODE Try `libtool --help' for more information." This suggests to me that libtool has in fact been installed. True? Should I forget the rpm -qf libltdl.so.3 thing and just proceed with the upgrade of Everybuddy? Don't want to mess anything up by attempting the install out of sequence (or does that matter?). Thanks! doc On Sunday 07 July 2002 06:42 pm, Frits J. Wüthrich wrote:
