Mads and you other admins, now that we actually have an off-topic mailing list, could we please enforce the on-topic-ness of this one? I mean, let's have it official: no OT's and no news on the SuSE-Linux-e mailing list.
Everything that's not fairly SuSE-centric (including things like my frequent requests for help with apache and bash scripts ;-) ) should be handled on the new list.
I'm convinced if we do not enforce it we'll be getting off-topics on this list again in no time.
What? You must be joking! Seeking help for Apache and/or bash in SuSE is NOT OT IMO. To me it has been rather weird to see how occupied this list has been recently with all that anti--M$ propaganda, that to me is OT and not a good sign for newcomers. M$ v -rest of the world of OS's is an interesting and a serious issue well worth lots of discussing, but to me it doesn't look good to fill this list with that. A good example is the linux.nu site in Sweden that got a discussion forum with a seperate list for discussing M$. Cheers, ei
