Guys
I have had a string of libqt4-x11 "package is broken, fails integrity check" failures tonight updating various 11.0 boxes. Out of 60 updates, 30 or so fail with the integrity check fail error. Primarily from the 11.0 factory repo. Just got another for ktouch. What's up with that?
cc:Pavlov , just FYI
I think support for openSUSE 11.0 expired at 30th June this year, so there will be no further updates. Probably that's the reason why you are receiving these errors.
Pavol,
If there are no further updates, then there would be no newer packages in the repos for the package manager to select -- Right? or am I missing something somewhere?
You may want to check to make sure that any repos you have defined afe still valid. The path to them may have been moved to a discontinued path with the demise of 11.0.
Whatever the issue is, it seems to be in the last 2 versions of firefox. 3.6.3 worked fine, 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 both wont play the flash at the site. It isn't the flash plugin either. Firefox and Opera use the same flash plugin: 12:38 alchemy:/home/david/suse/pkg # l /usr/lib/opera/plugins/ total 8 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2010-06-25 02:09 ./ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2010-06-25 02:09 ../ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 2010-06-25 02:09 libflashplayer.so -> /usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so and Opera plays it just fine. I caught an error running firefox on the command line: 12:26 alchemy:/srv/http/dl/webdev> firefox Unsupported movie property data with value "./flanis.swf" Unsupported movie property id with value "FlAniS" Unsupported movie property PARAM with value "(null)" Unsupported movie property movie with value "./flanis.swf" Unsupported movie property quality with value "high" Unsupported movie property menu with value "false" Loading stream: http://radar.weather.gov/flanis.swf unhandled event 19 It looks like some incompatibility firefox has with the site.
