General questions I have for you are:
1. Which KDE are you using, v3.x or v4.x?
I am using 4.x
2. If you are using KDE4, what are your thoughts? Better than KDE3 or Gnome? Worse?
I can't say its better than KDE3 (Still missing needed features to be able to replace KDE3 and I understand that and am looking forward to 4.2 release), but being that I am not a GNOME person yes it is better than Gnome.
3. If you are using KDE4, have you updated to the current v4.1.x build that is available or are you still using the v4.0.x build that came with the installation?
Currently have 4.1.1 from the factory repo
4. If you have used KDE3 in the past, and are using KDE4 now, do you feel that it is a good replacement for KDE3? Strengths of KDE4? Weaknesses?
There are some things that KDE3 has that KDE4 does not yet to have, some such are: support for different wallpaper on every desktop, drag and drop support from the desktop to file manager, stable Amarok K3B Digikam (I do have the betas and alphas of each installed as well as the KDE3 versions so I can see the difference/still use the programs). I like all the desktop effects Kwin has in KDE4, but the only big problem I have with it is I am being bitten by a pretty nasty problem ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167927 ) other then having to give 60+ tries to get a network app to work its good.
5. Do you like the look and feel of KDE in either KDE3 or KDE4? If not, what would improve it?
I like both KDE3 and KDE4.
Thanx
