I have been given another pc today, and now have enough to set one up as an email server.
What are the min requirements for this, I think it is a 486 33mhz 16meg memory.
will this be enough to get linux going ? dids
Hi Dids, yes this should be enough to get linux running. You *cannot* use yast2 for installation, since its memory requirement is to high, no fun on a 486/33 anyway. Try either to boot with CD2 or enter "manual" at the boot prompt to use yast1. Hope you got enough HD space to store all the mails... ;-) Juergen -- =========================================== __ _ Juergen Braukmann juergen.braukmann@gmx.de| -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Tel: 0201-743648 dk4jb@db0qs.#nrw.deu.eu | /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ===========================================_\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
