This is a known problem and they are improving it. It depends on what
your soundcard is and may still depend on when you boot the VM.
Talking with their engineers at LinuxWorld two years ago, they found
sound intermittent. Boot the VM and it works, boot again and it's
choppy, boot again and it doesn't work, pull hair and repeat for
random results. It sounds like for at least some cards, it works
consistently. Look around on their Web site for details.
