Evolution handles tnef attachments, and it'll also talk to your Exchange server as an LDAP server for the addressbook, and with Connector, you can share all the calendars.

That's *a* solution, but not *the* solution to the particular problem he's having. I too, would like to know why 2 Kmail clients open TNEF emails fine, and the third doesn't. Was the configuration on each one setup by each individual for his machine? Very curious, I hope someone has a clue about this one.
