/Per I am using TB #6 and do not see the above: I see the option to enter the application from which I want to import the old mail etc. And Outlook is also listed? Guess I'll have to upgrade, I'm on TB2 and -3. Perhaps a slight clarification is necessary here: there is no drop-down menu with choices but there is a box where you enter the application from which you want the items to be imported. Hmm, I get the box, but I can't enter anything, it's not exactly free-form text :-)
(OK, I'll give it one more shot for luck :-) .)
Have you looked at this: http://www.howtoforge.com/importing_outlook_express_into_thunderbird_evoluti... ?
I did, but it appears to be Windows-only. On Windows, my understanding is that one can use the MAPI interface to manipulate the contents of a PST file. It looks like open source MAPI implementations are slowly gaining speed, but perhaps not quite there yet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messaging_Application_Programming_Interface#Ope... Thanks for your efforts, Basil :-) /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (14.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
