YES I AM! Have you still got loads of NTSC/PAL fixed 64 games there, then get to me via Email. Interested in connecting the c64 to linux mgetty console, then via the list...
well, not a C64, but i do have an old MSX lying around, which i'd love to connect to my linux box. but i never thought it would actually be possible... i'd like to hear how you did it, 'cos i guess at least part of the process will be the same...
Hi Joost, I have some Terminal running on the combogombo (Nova Termn, CCGMS oder handyterm). You do only need that term for transfers. in case you need no file xfers, a simple handshake basic program would fit (for 1200 baud). better tho is machine language, which will serve you stable 2400 bauds full duplex send and receive. then, a 0-modem-cable with crossed pairs for sx/rx data does the job. have mgetty run to look for the port (/dev/ttyS03 is mine...) -- *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨¨*¤Oliver@home*º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨*¤
