Ok, where is a good place to pull the "good" xine RPMs from? I finally started converting my home system to SuSE 9.1 last night, and want to get full multimedia support going.
I noticed on Packman's site there's like 50 xine options... Also, I've noticed a fair number of sites that mention the DeCSS software don't have it available for download.
(I do have apt installed -- does apt install xinelibs get the right one?)
Those are the things Xine will need to run well, but believe me, they're good for many other things too once you learn how to use them. It's a bear to download them all with just dialup, but if I can do it, anyone can, heh. Just make sure you download the necessary things *for your version number* (I always get the src.rpm's of everything and rebuild, so I know it's made for anything weird I may have done on my system).
