ok i got the cdrom to mount what is was i had an audio cd in the drive and it wouldnt mount as soon as i try an data cd it was fine but i would like to be able to mount the cdrom drive with an audio cd in drive as i have an program here that will play the cd remote to someone but it needs to mount the cdrom any ideas how to do this thanks again for everyones help BOB On Wed, 14 Nov 2001, James Bliss wrote:

Um... 'man mount' tells you everything you need to know. The basic syntax is:
mount -t [filesystem name] [device name] [mount point]
Thus, I mount my CDRW drive by doing:
mount -t iso9660 /dev/scd1 /media/cdrom
