My fstab entry looks like this ..

/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,iocharset=utf8 0 0

(the iocharset is because it's a Japanese verison of XP)

Permissions look like this ..

drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 72 2003-06-13 23:19 windows

dr-xr-xr-x 1 root users 8192 2003-06-25 20:28 C
