I'm working on an Opensuse 13.2, getting next-gen KDE (plasma5 + KF5 + etc) up & running. After installing/upgrading the needed changes, zypper tells me zypper dup ... Nothing to do. But when I verify with zypper zypper ve Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... 1 Problem: Problem: nothing provides appdata(org.kde.dolphin.appdata.xml) needed by application:Dolphin-.noarch Solution 1: deinstallation of application:Dolphin-.noarch Solution 2: break application:Dolphin-.noarch by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/s/r/c] (c): I have dolphin installed rpm -qa | grep -i dolphin dolphin-15.04.60git-15.1.x86_64 libdolphinvcs5-15.04.60git-15.1.x86_64 dolphin-part-15.04.60git-15.1.x86_64 and ls -al /usr/share/appdata/dolphin.appdata.xml -rw-r--r--+ 1 root root 48K May 28 04:46 /usr/share/appdata/dolphin.appdata.xml rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/share/appdata/dolphin.appdata.xml dolphin-15.04.60git-15.1.x86_64 What's the actual problem here? It seems like it's packaging, but I don't know why zypper's unhappy with this?
