Every time after a reboot I have to readjust the master volume from 0. I have looked if this feature is somewhere configured but did not find anything which could be of help. Could somebody be of assistance?
Constant,
Sometimes this issue come from deeper than application.
Please, go via YaST->Hardware->Sound->
I have the same problem in one of my machines (the others are fine). Only it's not just at reboot, but every time I logout and login, the volume of Front in YaST->Hardware->Sound->Other->Volume is set back to zero. And this particular volume cannot be controlled by KMix, only in YaST. It drives me nuts.
Carlos, is there a difference in setup of the machines? That could give an indication where to look at. Forgot indeed that logout or reboot have the same effects. A new user handles the sound in the same way. No solution there. Mastervolume seems to be the only volume to be reset to 0. -- Linux User 183145 using KDE4 on a Pentium IV , powered by openSUSE 12.1 (i586) Kernel: 3.4.1-27-default KDE Development Platform: 4.8.3 (4.8.3) "release 504") 07:48am up 9:22, 3 users, load average: 1.21, 0.95, 0.89 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
