It's not Desktop related. It happens on KDE and GNOME. I noticed it

I seldom power off my desktop (I hibernate instead), and yesterday I found that it does not power off when commanded from XFCE menu. It is running 12.1 up to date, and uses systemv.

I don't know if recent updates fixed it. I find no proper exponation. This week has been wonderful for: oS 12.1 -x86-GNOME power off with no issues or delays (LVM) GRUB & SystemV oS 12.1 -x86-GNOME power off with no issues or delays (ext4) GRUB & SystemV oS 12.1 -x86-KDE 4.7.2 power off with no issues or delays (LVM & ext4) GRUB & SystemV oS 12.2 -x86_64-KDE 4.8.5 power off with no issues or delays (ext4) GRUB2 oS 12.2 -x86_64-KDE 4.9.4 power off with no issues or delays (ext4) GRUB2 & Systemd oS 12.2 -x86_64-XFCE power off with no issues or delays (BTRFS) GRUB2 & Systemd All of them in Test Lab. Some of them are old hardwares and other among 6 months and 2 years old. Hope all of you are having similar experience. If anything changes I will keep you posted.
