Didn't notice this the last time. :-( I changed the menu file, and
changed it, and changed it, but everytime I clicked to save it, for some
reason, it still wishes to use sda7. :-( So I did some experimenting
and I finally got it to save without the error. Well, a boot menu does
show up, but it's lilo and I "think" it might be a holdover from
Mandriva.(or was it ubuntu?) Anyway, it said the kernel has to load
first so I couldnt boot into anything anyway, so there's no way to be
certain that the changed i made actually worked! I'll probably have to
wipe the mbr and start over again. :-( Will keep you informed.
I probably have to run repair system and go from there. At least get
back to the error message, then go from there. I probably would have ben
better off if I would have noticed this message earlier! One thing for
sure, this computer is getting one heck of a workout today. Hope the
electronics holds up from all this rebooting.
