Well, it's python, you don't actually compile anything. The install script basically just copies the python script files into the file system to the appropriate location.
It's one that I think should be maintained for openSUSE.
Maintained by a SUSE employee? That's not for me to say, I'm not privy to the magic that goes on inside product management. But you could file a feature request.
Or it could be maintained by someone in the community in the OBS

This is what he is talking about. It was built by a home project by wberrier in 10.3 and was built by both wberrier and mckeeshop in their home projects in 11.0. Nothing for 11.1.
