I'm running 64 bit.
The installer had a requirement on python-imaging and python-sqlalchemy, so I had to install those two. After that it installed.
When running it, there was some strangeness. For some reason, the first two times it complained that a string wasn't unicode, even though it was. But the third time I ran it, it started up, and since then I've been able to start it several more times without seeing that error. Not sure what that's about.
Ok.......I'm upgrading KDE right now, so will have to get all the sources and what's needed, again, to compile it.
Other than that, it seems to run fine. But then I haven't really used it, only started it. Which errors are you seeing?
I don't remember all that I had before when I tried to compile and install it. I'll give it a try again, and see if it will run reliably. I believe 10.2 was the last SUSE release I ran it on.....worked great. It's a very worthwhile application....if you have a compiled version that works. ;) It's one that I think should be maintained for openSUSE. Thanks, Anders! Well, it's python, you don't actually compile anything. The install script basically just copies the python script files into the file system to the appropriate location.

Maintained by a SUSE employee? That's not for me to say, I'm not privy to the magic that goes on inside product management. But you could file a feature request. Or it could be maintained by someone in the community in the OBS Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

This is what he is talking about. It was built by a home project by wberrier in 10.3 and was built by both wberrier and mckeeshop in their home projects in 11.0. Nothing for 11.1. If you look at http://software.opensuse.org/search?baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.0&p=1&q=gourmet, you'll get what I mean.
