Hi everyone, I've going to do some various upgrades to my laptop (more ram, new nic, KVM, etc.), so I don't think I'm going to be springing for buying SuSE this time (unless they ever implement my "PowerPack" idea). Anyway, I still wouldn't mind going and downloading the ISO's, and maybe sending SuSE a check for $10 or $20 (like I believe CheapBytes recommends).
Any ideas yet on when we might see the ISO's?
We are _evaluating_ (and don't read more into it) the idea of some fast ftp-servers and giving people access to the FULL distribution (not just the current ftp-version, i.e. this one will include the 3rd party stuff as well) there. For some little money. In Europe this is not a great business idea, in the US it _might_ be. Well, RH seems to think so, see the "RH network". IMHO it's certainly more convenient than getting a big box each time, esp. with the update edition only available from us directly, which adds S&H to the bill. But an individual opinion doesn't mean the idea is a good business idea.
