You could have actually solved your problem by running SuSEconfig after you installed the new Mozilla. It fixes the weird theme/font issue that occurs right after the upgrade.
Ah sorry. I did (it's done automatically :) and this did not help either appearantly :(

My problem on SuSE 7.3 is that Mozilla 1.2.1 is blocked on /dev/dsp
