At which of these stages does your configuration fail?
It says:
checking for Mozilla... no configure: error: *** Mozilla is required *** A package for is available here: *** http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla/.
Something I hadn't noticed before you made me ;-) copy this: *two* spaces after "Mozilla" on the first *** line, and *two* spaces after "for" on the following *** line. That probably means something....
To answer your other question: the directory is /usr/local/galeon-1.0 (not 1.0.1), and the last entry in the ChangeLog mentions changing the version to 1.0; that entry is dated 23 November 2001.
If you can make anything of this, I'll be very grateful.
Well it certainly looks as if you are falling at the seonnd hurdle. The gaps are for the version number, I think, but it looks like that warning is not further activated at present. I am baffled. I will keep on thinking. I have also posted the problem to the galeon list. I will get back to you. Regards, Geoff _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
