Maybe the locale is missing from your system :-?
Any ideas what's going on? Anyone using en_US.UTF-8 on SuSE 11.1+ and have it working?
It works for me on 11.0 and 11.2. What's the exact output of locale? I once had problems and it turned out I had made a silly mistake when writing the env. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
