Hello. New opensuse user. I am used to the Ubuntu package management policy which puts most packages online with only a few on installation CD. After installed OpenSuSE 11.0 I immediately dumped my installation DVD thinking I no longer need them 'cos I should be able to pull needed packages from online.
So what should I do? Re-burn the DVD (took me 5 days to download it!) and install Opera from DVD? I could download a copy from Opera website instead but I wonder what's OpenSuSE user's recommended way to do that.
I would advise you to go to the Opera site and download a suitable version. That is what I did. By the way, I would strongly advise against throwing away installation media. When one changes a hard drive, or a whole computer, having a DVD for re-installation an unlimited number of times is invaluable.
