I had this same problem (see my post from yesterday SUSE 10- Firefox Plug-Ins Broken). None of my plug-ins that I tested were working (acroread, flash, etc.). A check of about:plugins showed that all of my plugins except the default plugin (libnullplugin.so) were enabled. I resolved the problem by disabling the acroread plug-in and closing firefox. I then (for the second time) re-installed the acroread plug-in per the instructions here: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/firefox-linux.html#install-acroread When I was re-installing the plug-in, it complained that it was already installed and asked if I wanted to install it anyway. I chose to install it anyway. I then opened up firefox, enabled the pdf plugin, closed firefox, re-booted my computer and now all of my plug-ins seem to work. Very strange, but it worked for me. Hope this helps. Mike
