Have u installed libgpp? You may also want gppshare.
What is the actual program you are compiling? I had this problem when I first tried SuSE, and solved it by installing the approriate dveelopment packages. Some of these arent installed by default. You'll almost definately want xdevel installed to if its for X. This wasnt installed by default in suse 6.0.
I have libgpp installed I'll try installing gppshare and xdevel. I was trying to comp mysql / xarchon / xcruise / kmysql . Thanks a lot I'll give it a try. Ian
You need: gcc gpp <-- Note that with SuSE, this is a seperate package [d] egcs (or gccfront) libstdc*** libgpp -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
