Rather: make users aware of the situation and use free codecs. And those who don't understand are damned to live with the mp crap. I guess we both know, that's not going to work.. I mean every kid unable to set up his email-client knows how to get mp3s on his player (or off the net).
And the fact, that most mp3(even the name says it)-players doesn't support ogg-vobis doesn't make the situation easier. It's a marketing thing - while ogg is used in the industry for games it doesn't really reach the end consumer... Greetings Michael
