Is the latest OpenOffice version availabble as an rpm file to download from some website ?
Go to http://www.openoffice.org/ and follow the download link in the middle of the page, you can't miss it. The current version 2.0 for Linux is only available as an rpm.
Correction: that should be rpms (plural). Check the installation instructions link on the download page. After you have installed the core rpms find the SuSE menu rpm (singular) and install that separately.
In addition, where can the MS fonts be downloaded from ?
When you have OOo installed go to "File -> Wizards -> Install fonts from the web...".
Is the last OO version going to run on SuSE 9.1 ???
Yes.
Thank you in advace for your help.
