I have 7.3 Prof on my machine with MS 98 on a single shared hard disk
(dual boot).
Are MS utilities (disk re-fragmneter , virus checker etc ) likley to foul
up the SuSE partition/data?
Many thanks.
James

I am new to Linux but DO NOT USE THESE TOOLS on a linux partition. Severe corruption is very likely.
I don't think he's talking about using the M$ utilities on his linux partition. I believe he just wanted to know if using them in his M$ partition would 'leak' over to his linux partition and do any damage. Besides...M$ sees nothing but itself/other M$ OS's, and has no clue about a linux partition on the same hdd. <snip> You are right qbout M$ not seeing linux partitions. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
