There is probably some dependency resolution issue. It has happened to me before. Looks like you have to update through yast or zypper once so you can answer the dependency resolution questions, afterwards you should be fine.
Hi Matthias,
Yes, there is. A beauty of a dependency conflict between xine-lib 1.1.12-8.1-i586 from the OSS repo and lib-xine 1.1.15.pm.1-586 and lib-xine 1.1.15.pm.1-686 from the Packman repo.
Packman has a new version of amaroK available, which wants lib-xine 1.1.15.pm.1-586 but bites with xine-lib from the OSS repo. Yast won't let me resolve this, even if I tell it to change the vendor from OSS repo to Packman. It keeps telling me it can't satisfy the dependency for lib-xine 1.1.15.pm.1-586.
I guess it is a problem where it just ignores you input and repeats the question.
Ah well, I'll sort it out somehow.
Remove manually OSS lib-xine, and it will let you install Packman version. I guess it is worth bug report, but since I found, trough trial and error, way around I didn't investigate further is it package error, or libzypp.

I found it like you. I got frustrated and finally just de-installed lib-xine. Then everything from packman installed. -- Russ Linux register user 441463 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
