I'd also highly recommend: Linux Administration Handbook: Evi Nemeth, Garth Snyder, Trent Hein. It is about $70.00 and by the same authors who did the red Unix Administration Handbook. They cover all 3 major distributions: Suse, Red Hat and Debian. It's down and dirty and one of the great points of the book is they cover how something is done in all 3 mentioned distros, if one does it differently they point that out as well. -Scott At 02:47 AM 10/8/2002 +0200, Carlos E.
