Hi! Ok, thanks for your answer but I wanna be sure to understand correctly before to go on to prevent to do big mistakes... So, I can boot with the win2k CD to install it and I can install it on my second hard drive with my linux installed on the first? Is it right? The problem I think I will have is that win2k will erase the MBR to install its boot loader there, so I will lose the part of disk that contains lilo, so I will not be able to boot linux except if I use a floppy disk. It is still right? And what to do to have dual boot with lilo between SuSE and win2k? This part, I'm really not sure... Still thanks On Fri, 2002-06-14 at 20:37, Ben Jones wrote: Martin Richard wrote: > Hi! > > Can I install it on the other disk to dual boot with my linux without having > to reinstall linux? If yes how? It works fine, although bear in mind that windows will not play fair with your MBR. You can either use the NT bootloader, or repair SuSE's back to the MBR, which is a lot easier... cheers, Ben -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com
